Award Nominations: 2022 - 2023
DASP is seeking nominations for our SPOTY (School Psychologist of the Year), Friend of DASP, and Outstanding Advocate awards.
Nominations are due on March 17, 2023.
All awards will be presented during our Spring Conference on April 28, 2023.
School Psychologist of the Year (SPOTY)
This award recognizes one School Psychologist in our state who has excelled in his/her commitment and contribution to the betterment of his/her school(s) and specifically to the students he/she serves.
This award is given to individuals or groups outside the profession who have shown their advocacy efforts to improve education and mental health services for children, youth, and their families. These recipients have worked to make systemic changes in policies that govern the provision of education and mental health services at the local, state, and/or national level to support DASP’s mission and goals.
The award is given to individual DASP members who have clearly shown their advocacy efforts to improve education and mental health services for children, youth, and their families.
